I knew and worked very closely with Louis Navarro for over ten years. He was very dedicated to the cause of African Agricultural Development throughout the ESA region. He had a very analytical mind and a very sincere heart. I am very shocked and saddened to learn that such a great friend of Africa and Africans has passed away, especially as I did not know that he was sick. Please find a way for conveying these sentiments to the family of the deceased since I cannot travel to Nairobi to sign the condolence book. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.
