About AgEcon Search and How to Access AAAE Information
AgEcon Search:
Research in Agricultural and Applied Economics
is a World Wide Web site (http://agecon.lib.umn.edu)
developed and maintained at the University of Minnesota by Magrath Library
and the Department of Applied Economics. It’s a full text library of
Agricultural and Applied Economics Scholarly Literature. AgEcon Search
collects, indexes, and electronically distributes full text copies of
scholarly research in the broadly defined field of agricultural economics
including sub disciplines such as agribusiness, food supply, natural
resource economics, environmental economics, policy issues, agricultural
trade, and economic development.
The
African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE) has posted the 2004
Inaugural Symposium Proceedings and shall be posting the AfJARE Journal
and the 2007 Ghana conference proceedings in the near future. The
guidelines below will assist you access the papers from that conference.
Feel free to search for/in other publications and institutions (outside
AAAE) for titles of your interest. We welcome any feedback on this
resource. Meanwhile, a pictorial guideline is available for those with
difficulties in accessing the proceedings using the procedure below.

2.Do not make any entry in the “Select Search Options” but go down to
the option ‘…. select an Institution to search’. Using the drop
down arrow to the extreme right select “African Association of
Agricultural Economists (AAAE)”. The Association is the second in the
list.
3.Now click on the button ‘select institution’. The web page
for African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE) will open.
4.Do
not make any entry in the “Select Search Options” section but go down to
and click the option
to
open AAAE records. This
action leads you to page with a short format of the 2004
AAAE proceedings with title, authors, publication series and publisher.
From this page, you can download the full paper in PDF and also open the
link View details of this recordwith
information on the title, author, abstract and contacts.
Important notes
5.We encourage you to use this option in order to be able to download
and have a quick view the full proceedings. To view the Long format Record
which shows you the title, author, abstract and contact information of all
papers, click on the Change to long record format (but it may take
longer to download depending on the speed of your connection).
