AAAE Secretariat

The Executive Committee of AAAE has mandated FORMAT to host the Secretariat and conduct all its businesses. The secretariat manages the affairs of the association on a day-to-day basis. These include fundraising, program management, administration, conferences and committee meetings, networking, publication of the African Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics (AfJARE) and annual reports, among other duties. The secretariat mobilizes agricultural economists in various countries to work closely with governments in order to realize effective reforms in agriculture, improved agricultural productivity and mitigate against negative impacts from globalization and climate change. It also facilitates improved access to scientific publications and career development opportunities for members through its website.
